What to do in Granada and Spain

Granada

Granada is a city and the capital of the province of Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. Granada is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains (where you can find the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort), at the confluence of four rivers, the Beiro, the Darro, the Genil and the Monachil.

It sits at an elevation of 738 meters above sea level, yet is only one hour by car from the Mediterranean coast, the Costa Tropical.

Mountains for wintersports in winter and spring, the Mediterranean sea to enjoy yourself in summer, and a huge variety of monuments, parks and things to do in the city centre! Immerse yourself in the Moorish life in the Alhambra and Albayzín, discover everything about the Catholic Monarchs after visiting the city centre and the Cathedral, and have a wonderful time living a 100% Spanish experience in our bars and clubs!

Spain

What about Spain? From Granada you can reach Malaga and Almería, well known for its beautiful beaches. You may also want to visit Córdoba and Sevilla, with their wonderful cathedrals and monuments. Gibraltar is not that far, so if you want to visit England without leaving Spain, this is your chance!

Don’t miss small villages in the area, we highly recommend visiting Ronda or Setenil de las Bodegas, and the Alpujarras.

If you want to go a little bit further, Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona have big plans for you! In summer check the National Social Plan to visit some of these cities!
